Flavours

I can supply a range of flavours including:

rich fruit cake

vanilla sponge filled with jam and vanilla buttercream

chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream

chocolate and baileys sponge with baileys buttercream

moist carrot cake with orange buttercream

lemon sponge with syrup and lemon curd buttercream

orange sponge, drizzled with orange and cointreau syrup, with white chocolate buttercream

vanilla sponge with fresh raspberries and blueberries with raspberry buttercream

Cherry Bakewell with almond buttercream

Red Velvet


GLUTON FREE: Victoria sponge or chocolate cake


Cupcake flavours:

           Vanilla

           Chocolate with chocolate buttercream

           Chocolate with chocolate and nutella buttercream

           Red Velvet

           Lemon

           Orange with white chocolate buttercream

           

The fruit cake is covered with almond paste (milder than traditional marzipan to suit more taste buds).  All cakes are finally covered with sugarpaste, unless the design requires just buttercream.  Cake toppings are edible and handmade using sugar modelling or petal paste. A personal message can also be piped onto any cake.


I am happy to accommodate you should you have an alternative flavour preference, just let me know and I’ll see what I can do.


Themes and decorations

When considering your cake you will need to think about the number of portions required, your budget, theme, hobbies and interests of the recipient(s). I can then advise you on the design to help create the perfect unique cake for your special occasion.  It can be as simple or as decorative as you like. It may help if you send me a photo of a cake you particularly like and from that I can create a unique design just for you.  For weddings I advise you book a consultation, you can then sample various cake flavours (you’ll be smitten) and brainstorm any design ideas.


All my cakes are freshly baked to order and boxed for safe transportation.  For any fruit cakes I need at least 2 months notice and at least 3 weeks notice for sponge cakes, so the sooner you contact me with your requirements the better.
